Add the LinkToast widget to WordPress

Drop the embed script into a Custom HTML block or your theme footer. WordPress outputs the tag on the front end and Studio handles widget updates.

Prerequisites

  • An active LinkToast account
  • A published widget in Studio
  • Editor or administrator access to the WordPress site

Step-by-step

  1. Publish your widget in Studio

Publish in Studio and copy the embed snippet from the Code button.

  2. Open the page or template

Edit the page, post, or template where the widget should live. The block editor and the classic editor both work.

  3. Add a Custom HTML block

Insert a Custom HTML block where you want the Trusted By section. Paste the embed snippet from Studio into the block. Do not wrap it in a shortcode unless your theme requires it.

  4. Update or publish the page

Save and view the public page. For a site-wide footer embed, paste the same snippet into a footer widget area or your child theme footer template, then clear any page cache plugin.

Troubleshooting

WordPress removes the script when I save.
Some security plugins strip script tags. Allow the Custom HTML block for your role, or paste the snippet in a footer template file if your host permits unfiltered HTML for administrators.
I use a page builder like Elementor.
Use the builder HTML or Code widget module and paste the same script tag. Avoid visual-only modules that sanitize script content on save.
Cached pages show an old widget version.
Purge your WordPress cache after you publish in Studio. CDN or host-level caches may also need a purge.
